The 16th Brazilian Sports Science Congress (CONBRACE) is a biennial scientific event. It constitutes the Brazilian Sports Sciences College’s (CBCE) largest event and scientific societies in the area consider this one of the most important congresses. The CBCE, a scientific body affiliated to the Brazilian Society for the Progress of Science (SBPC), brings together researchers and students originating from different areas of knowledge and academic fields and that have the development of Physical Education, Sports Science and Leisure Studies as a common interest.
This event was consolidated both on the national and Latin American scene as a result of the scientific precision of its events and credibility built during the 30 years that the Brazilian Sports Sciences College has been open.
The Brazilian Sports Science Congress (CONBRACE), now in its 16th year and the International Sports Science Congress (CONICE) in its third, aim to expand their international dialogue with the perspective of establishing partnerships and cooperation protocols. They also encourage exchanges together with research groups, institutions and scientific bodies, so as to extend the bases of national sovereignty and international cooperation.
